This policy explains what Connell Technology (ABN 21762538240), operating Slipel, collects about you and why. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Account details: email, display name, and any profile info you add (location, bio).
• Listing content: names, descriptions, cover images, and files you upload to sell.
• Transaction records: what you bought or sold, order status, and amounts — payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Usage data: pages viewed and basic device/browser info, via Vercel Analytics.
• If you sign in with Google, GitHub, or Facebook, the name/email/avatar that provider shares with us.

Why we collect it

To run the marketplace: creating accounts, processing purchases and payouts, delivering the files you buy, showing seller stores and reviews, and preventing fraud or abuse. We don't sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — processes payments and seller payouts (Stripe Connect).
• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel — hosts the site and provides aggregate, anonymized analytics.
• OAuth providers you choose to sign in with (Google, GitHub, Facebook), solely for authentication.

We don't share your information with anyone else except where required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against fraud. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account information at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@slipel.com. We retain transaction records as required for tax and accounting purposes even after account deletion.
